Greetings students, parents, relatives and friends!

What an exciting time to be a student at San Pasqual Valley Elementary School where students strive for excellence each day.  We, as an entire school, value and believe in each student, parent, and community and staff member.  The whole child is taken into consideration in our school instructional culture.  We, like you, are concerned with every child’s academic success. 

To provide students with a rich learning environment, teachers implement Explicit Direct Instruction that provides students with numerous opportunities of engagement.   Students actively engage in learning through instructional activities that include: pair share, choral responses, use of slates, whole group, and use of technological instruction instruments.  To promote learning, the teacher scaffolds the subject content increasing the complexity of the intended learning task to match student needs. 

The students school spirit is at an all time high, as noted during the Wednesday morning Associated Student Body round the flag pole salute and students chanting the San Pasqual Moving On Up and the 700 API Cheer.  A special thanks to every parent, as a child’s academic success begins at home with ensuring your child arrives to school on time and ends with helping your child complete their homework.
